Blackbird started in a Long Island City kitchen, hand-making seitan for the city's best restaurants. When people wanted to cook with it at home, we opened our own facility to make the best plant-based meat in the western world.
We still make it by hand. Hand-tossed, hand-battered, small-batch. Because good food is worth the effort.
