Shipping & delivery
How does shipping work?
We ship your order frozen, straight to your door. Free 2-day ground shipping to most of the East Coast, and $39 2-day air shipping to the rest of the U.S. (except Hawaii and Alaska). All orders over $150 ship free.
Will it arrive frozen?
Yes. Everything ships packed frozen with insulation so it arrives cold and ready for your freezer.
Storage & cooking
How do I store everything?
Pizza minis, wings, and crispy tofu keep frozen. Seitan shreds and blocks keep refrigerated. Each pack tells you which.
How do I cook it?
Most items go straight from frozen. Seitan: sauté, grill, or air-fry. Pizza minis: bake from frozen to bubbling, golden perfection. Wings: bake or air-fry. Full steps are on each product page and the pack.
Ingredients & diet
Is it vegan?
Yes. Everything Blackbird makes is 100% plant-based and vegan, for vegans and meat-eaters alike.
What are the allergens?
Our seitan contains wheat and soy. Check each product page for its full ingredient list and allergens.
What exactly is seitan?
The original plant-based meat: a high-protein wheat protein used as a meat alternative in East Asia since the 6th century. We hand-make ours small-batch in our NYC facility.
